In November 2020, Bishop Harris debuted his first book, “Called, Claimed, and Commissioned,” which provides a powerful glimpse into his spiritual journey as a same-gender-loving (SGL) man of faith. In addition to his book, Bishop Harris has authored several thought-provoking articles and short stories, including “Translations or Transliteration? That is the Question!”, “Homosexual! No Such Word in the Bible,” and “It’s the ‘Q’ in Me.” His writings, featured in publications like the Baltimore Outloud Paper, QNotes of North Carolina, and Unite Virginia Magazine, challenge misconceptions about LGBTQ+ individuals in faith communities and offer biblical insights that promote understanding and acceptance.

With a lifelong commitment to preaching and teaching the Gospel of inclusion, Bishop Harris continues to be a voice for those who have been silenced or marginalized by traditional religious narratives, helping others find their place within God's love and purpose.
