Prayer is the sincere, affectionate outpouring of the heart and soul to God through Christ by the aid and assistance of the Holy Spirit for that which is promised in scripture and for the body of Christ, aka, the church.
Prayer Intention
Stewarding Time and Energy in Service
Let us reflect on the infinite needs around us and the deep desire to serve God and His people. As we acknowledge the importance of home-life, work-life, and ministry-life, we also recognize the necessity of balance and rest. Our prayer intention today seeks wisdom, clarity, and strength to steward our time and energy in alignment with God’s purpose. May we find joy in our service while honoring the boundaries that sustain us, trusting that God multiplies our efforts when they are rooted in His will.
Prayer
Heavenly Father,
We come before You, humbled and grateful for the calling to serve Your people. You have entrusted us with gifts, passions, and opportunities to make a difference in this world. Yet, Lord, we recognize that the needs around us are vast, and our time and energy are limited.
Grant us wisdom, Lord, to discern where You are calling us to serve and where we must step back. Teach us to align our schedules with Your will, offering every moment as an act of worship.
Help us to embrace rest as part of our stewardship, knowing that You created us to live in balance. Strengthen our hearts when we feel overwhelmed, and remind us that the outcomes belong to You. Fill us with peace, Lord, as we trust that even small acts of faithfulness can multiply under Your care...
May we serve with joy, compassion, and purpose, reflecting Your love in everything we do. Let our lives be a testimony to the beauty of resting in Your presence while doing the work You have prepared for us.
