Choose the place that feels closest today.

You can begin anywhere. You do not have to have everything figured out. You are allowed to question. You are not alone. You choose what comes next.

Start With Healing

Find voices that understand religious rejection, shame, grief, spiritual homelessness, and the gradual work of feeling whole again.

Start With Your Questions

Explore stories that examine inherited beliefs, harmful teachings, and the questions you may once have been discouraged from asking.

Start With Possibility

Explore reconstructed faith, alternative spirituality, life beyond certainty, and the freedom to decide what remains meaningful to you.

Start With Community

Meet people navigating faith and identity without pressure to believe, perform, explain yourself, or reach a particular conclusion.

Start With Your Questions

Questioning what you were taught does not mean you have failed. It may mean you are taking your conscience, experience, and spiritual life seriously. You do not have to replace every old answer immediately.

  • Listen to deconstruction voices — your curated links to people whose work you trust.

  • Join an established conversation — links to existing Facebook groups or communities.

  • Begin with your own questions — a short downloadable or on-page reflection guide.

These resources represent different experiences and perspectives. A listing does not mean Pride Faith Voices endorses every belief expressed by its creator or community.

Start With Healing

Religious rejection creates real grief. You may be grieving a church, relationships, certainty, traditions, your former understanding of God, or the person you were expected to become. Healing does not have to begin with answers. It can begin by naming what was lost.

  • Understand religious grief

  • Name what you have lost

  • Explore grief support

  • Create a personal healing ritual

  • Visit GriefBlooms

Start With Possibility

Your choices are not limited to returning to the Christianity you were taught or abandoning everything that once mattered to you. You may keep what gives life, release what causes harm, rebuild faith differently, explore another spiritual path, or simply rest without deciding.

  • Reclaim — keep or recover what still feels sacred and life-giving.

  • Reimagine — explore faith through a different theological or spiritual framework.

  • Rest — stop searching for answers and allow uncertainty to exist.

  • Release — let go of beliefs, practices, or institutions that no longer belong in your life.

None of these choices has to be permanent. You are allowed to change as you learn, heal, and grow.

Start With Community

Community does not have to mean joining another institution. It can mean finding a few safe people who will listen without trying to correct, convert, or rush you.

  • Affirming churches and ministries.

  • Established deconstruction groups.

  • LGBTQ+ Christian communities.

  • Peer-support and religious-trauma spaces.

  • LGBTQ+ clergy and ministry networks.

  • Communities for people who no longer identify as Christian.

Pride Faith Voices does not operate these outside communities. We encourage you to review each group’s leadership, privacy practices, and community guidelines before sharing personal information.
